One of the most interesting models in the line is named after Vega, the first star after the Sun to be photographed by humans and one of the three brightest objects in the night sky above us. Vega was one of the first deep-sky objects we were able to determine the distance to. 14 thousand years ago, it was Vega that was the North Star and it will again become the centre of the stellar sphere in 12 thousand years.
