Deneb is very far from Earth, but this star is so bright that it is on the list of the most visible objects in the night sky. A Chinese fairy tale says that Deneb is a bridge on the Milky Way, where once a year a couple in love walks: Altair and Vega. Thousands of light years separate us from the pearl of the Cygnus constellation, but this is a saving abyss, because someday Deneb will become a supernova.
